Amazing how much and for how long the German national soccer player Mesut Özil can paralyze media! Granting him the most amazing publicity.

Now, we all understand, hopefully ALL, that integration, acceptance, human rights and equality, religious and cultural respect, MUST always be kept as a PRIORITY and that racism is unacceptable!!

Nevertheless, here we face another issue that I wish to point out:

-if Mesut Özil, who admires “his” turkish President Erdogan so much, would not have had the German sport’s and soccer support and possibilities to become a star?

-if he would not have had (in Turkey) the success and money he earns in Germany?

– if he would not be famous (thanks to Germany)?

Would President Erdogan even look at him? Welcome him? Talk to him? Even call him!?

We know that Özil is the best promoter that Erdogan could get!!

Said this,

with the success, fame and money that Özil could reach thanks to Germany, there can be, yes, like for anyone aiming to the top (let’s not forget #metoo) sometimes hard ways to achieve it.

Does anyone question how an immigrant feels in Turkey and if he/she obtains the same chances that Özil got in Germany?

At the end “life is a choice” and if Özil stays in Germany this means something.

So let’s finish these weeks after weeks of Özil in media – the world has more urgent and real big problems that must be solved!
