How can humanity, empathy,  #equalOpportunities and, #equalShares have any chance if the richest Asian family #Ambani from #India celebrates for over 6 months the #wedding of their son for hundreds of Millions of Dollars?

In India, millions of people, children suffer #extremePoverty,  #child #slavery and #exploitation and such a pevers celebration could enable instead million chances…

While I acknowledge that the two families have made significant contributions to charity, I believe that the current state of the world no longer aligns with notions of this kind of glamour or extravagance.

This doesn’t mean the wealthy shouldn’t celebrate—hard work and effort behind success deserve recognition, especially considering the millions of jobs that depend on it. My point, however, is whether it’s appropriate to showcase it so prominently on a global stage.

Looking at the celebrations I feel again the urgency to promote my thought that India is able to help itself! ..instead…development funds from all over the world are pouring into India….

Do you think that in today’s world this kind of  celebration is appropriate? 🤔
